A dance of love honoring the victims of the Pulse shooting in Orlando. On June 12th, the country woke to the news of the largest mass shooting in US history. This shooting, as you know took place at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. As hard as this news was on the country, it was even harder on the LGBT community. It is hard to understand why anyone would want to kill people for simply having a good time, enjoying life, and dancing. But that is exactly what we love to do ... have a good time, enjoy life and dance. "What the World Needs Now Is Love Sweet Love." Please enjoy this video of our ballroom dancers, Robert Rodgers, Amanda Rodgers, Shannon Howard, and Norman Howard, accompanied by our ballroom band "too MUCH SyLviA".
We were thrilled to have the Grand Strand PRIDE Dancers return in 2018. That year’s dance troupe consists of Norman and Shannon Howard, Sarah Zalewski, Anastasiia, and Salem Sherrill.
